Add from File Dialog Box

To access the Add from File dialog box, select Tools > Add from file from a patron record set.

Note:
When you add patron records to a record set using a file, the patron records already exist in the Polaris database. This process matches the PatronID in the file to the patron record in the Polaris database and adds the record to the record set.

Use the Add from File dialog box to:

• Specify the file containing the patron IDs - Click Browse to locate the file.
• Identify the worksheet and column containing the Polaris Patron ID - Select an option from the drop-down list in the Worksheet/Column containing PatronID box.
• Specify where to save the error report - Browse to select the location in the Save to file box.
• Add the patron records to the record set - Click Add.
