Brief Item Entry Dialog Box (OTF)

This dialog box appears if you enter a barcode for which no item is found and you opt to create an item record on-the-fly (OTF).

Use the Brief Item Entry dialog box to create the OTF item:

• Type the title in the Title box.
• Type the call number in the Call number box.
• Type an optional author in the Author box
• Type an optional note in the Free text block box.
• Change the default settings if necessary.
• Click OK.

The Check Out workform appears with the item in the Items Checked Out list.
