Welcome in, friend, and thanks for stopping by O’Morian’s Pub!
-Sit back, have a pint (or two) and listen in on hand picked, personally curated, and listener requested Celtic folk. We’ve got classic tunes, new favourites, and new takes on old songs from all over the world of Celtic music. From the old world to the new and across the Atlantic from Scotland to Nova Scotia, Ireland to Appalachia, and Brittany to Cape Breton — O’Morain’s Pub has your ticket for fantastic music across the Celtic experience.
+Last week, we lost a rare one, lads. And I couldn't let her go without a couple of hours of her music and the Celtic music that she loved so well. Moya Brennan, born Máire Philomena Ní Bhraonáin, passed away last week at the age of 73. She was often called the First Lady of Celtic Music and you'd have a hard time finding anyone who might challenge that. She was a trailblazer with a timeless voice, no matter whether she was fronting Clannad or running solo. She'll be missed, and yet her music lives on. So, let's have a little celebration of her life and her songs.
-So raise your glass, you’ve found something a little different from the norm. Sláinte!
