<h1>INN-Reach Peer-to-Peer Circulation</h1>
|
|
<p>INN-Reach <a name="kanchor5489"></a>Peer-to-Peer circulation allows patrons from Polaris local libraries to borrow materials from multiple participating INN-Reach Central Catalogs. Each participating INN-Reach Central Catalog contains only those records contributed by libraries affiliated with that specific system. See <a href="INNDataMapProfile/INNDataProfile.htm" class="MCXref xref" xrefformat="{color blue}{paratext}{/color}"><span style="color: Blue;" class="mcFormatColor">INN-Reach Configuration and Mapping Profile</span></a>. However, patrons from each system can search for and request items from all participating INN-Reach Peer-to-Peer Central Catalogs. </p>

<p>To implement INN-Reach Peer-to-Peer circulation, the library, with the help of an Innovative implementation representative, completes or updates the INN-Reach Configuration and Mapping Excel spreadsheet (see <a href="INNDataMapProfile/ContDataMapSpreadsheet.htm" class="MCXref xref" xrefformat="{color blue}{paratext}{/color}"><span style="color: Blue;" class="mcFormatColor">INN-Reach Configuration and Mapping Spreadsheet</span></a>). The spreadsheet includes central codes and related elements for the Central Catalogs that will participate in INN-Reach Peer-to-Peer circulation with your library. If your library already participates in and uploads records to an INN-Reach Central Catalog, you can add peer-to-peer Central Catalogs to the spreadsheet and upload it again. </p>
