<h1>Lost Item Transition Dialog Box</h1>
|
|
<p>To access the Lost item transition dialog box, select <b>Administration, Explorer</b>, library organization (System, Library, or Branch), <b>Parameters</b>, <b>Patron Services</b>, <span style="font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold;">Lost item transition</span>.</p>
|
|
<p>Use the Lost item transition dialog box to update the circulation status of Lost items to either Missing or Withdrawn based on the amount of time they have been lost.</p>
|
|
<p>Under <b>Move lost item to</b>, select one of the following options:</p>
|
|
<ul>
|
|
<li value="1"><b>Missing</b>
|
|
</li>
|
|
<li value="2"><b>Withdrawn</b>
|
|
</li>
|
|
<li value="3"><b>Do not change status</b>
|
|
</li>
|
|
</ul>
|
|
<p>Under <b>After</b>, select a number and select <b>Months</b> or <span style="font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold;">Years</span> to specify the time period for which the items will remain with a Lost status before they transition to Missing or Withdrawn.</p>
