<h1><a name="kanchor259"></a>Replicate Fiscal Year Checklist</h1>
|
|
<p>The following checklist summarizes the process for replicating a fiscal year's fund hierarchy. For more details, see <a href="Use_the_Fiscal_Year_Rollover_Utility.htm">Use the Fiscal Year Utility</a>.</p>

<p class="NoteShade"><b>Important:</b>
|
|
<br />When you replicate a fiscal year's fund hierarchy, you cannot undo the changes.</p>
|

<li value="1">
|
|
<p> Run the Fiscal Year/Fund Balances Report - Select <b>Run pre-processing reports</b> from the Fiscal Year Utility. It shows the current state of the fund balances to be rolled over.</p>
|

|

<p>Select the <b>Replicate fiscal year hierarchy</b> action, then select <b>Run</b>. Repeat this step for each fiscal year.</p>
|
|
</li>
|
|
<li value="3">
|
|
<p> Review the newly created fiscal years and fund records in the Fiscal Year and Fund explorers. See if fund names need to be changed to reflect the new fiscal year.</p>
|

|
|
<li value="4">
|
|
<p>Rename the new fiscal year to distinguish it from the old fiscal year.</p>
|
|
<p class="NoteShade"><b>Note:</b>
|
|
<br />If your library does EDI ordering and has a default fund selected in the EDI Invoice Defaults profile, the fund is not replaced by the new fund because the library can still expend from the old fund. The new fund can be selected at any time after the replication.</p>
