<h1>Add from File Dialog Box</h1>
|
|
<p>To access the Add from File dialog box, select <b>Tools > Add from file</b> from a patron record set.</p>
|
|
<p class="NoteShade"><b>Note:</b>
|
|
<br />When you add patron records to a record set using a file, the patron records already exist in the Polaris database. This process matches the PatronID in the file to the patron record in the Polaris database and adds the record to the record set.</p>
|
|
<p>Use the Add from File dialog box to:</p>
|
|
<ul>
|
|
<li>Specify the file containing the patron IDs - Click <b>Browse</b> to locate the file.</li>
|
|
<li>Identify the worksheet and column containing the Polaris Patron ID - Select an option from the drop-down list in the <b>Worksheet/Column containing PatronID</b> box.</li>
|
|
<li>Specify where to save the error report - Browse to select the location in the <b>Save to file</b> box.</li>
|
|
<li>Add the patron records to the record set - Click <b>Add</b>.</li>
|
|
